Although more than 100 Cranes have been observed roosting at this site the last few weeks, the recent rains have elevated the water levels in this marsh to a height that is no longer ideal roosting habitat and the Cranes are most likely using the Stony Lake roosting spot instead, which is just 2 miles or so east.
