Observation

Point count: counted all cranes visible in wetland at start of count and tallied cranes as they flew in to land during the count period. Counted from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. when it became too dark to see. Weather: low clouds, misty precipitation. Visibility was only impacted toward the end of the count period when the combination of darkness and precipitation made it hard to see incoming cranes.
