Observation

Birds were observed in over 40 groups flying into marsh (Nelsville) just south of M-55. I was parked on the side of the road at the same location from where I reported data last year. The Cranes could not be visually observed in the tall grass/cattails of the marsh. So I don't know if that is a ground count or a point count. The flights began approx. 5:45 EDT and ended approx. at 7:00 EDT. and were predominately from the West.
