Louisiana Releases Videos Showcasing How CITES Facilitates Sustainable Alligator Trade

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has released three new short videos about the sustainable alligator trade in the state, and how it represents a conservation success story. In one of the videos, Dr. Rosemarie Gnam, Chief of the U.S. Division of Scientific Authority for CITES (U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service), explains how CITES facilitates legal and sustainable commercial trade in alligators.
