This notice is provided pursuant to Section 10(c) of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (16 U.S.C. 1531, et seq.): [PRT-15453] Applicant: Oakhill Center for Rare & Endangered Species, Luther, OK. The applicant requests a permit to export 2 captive born white tigers (Panthera tigris) to Itozu Zoological Park, Japan, for the purpose of propagation and public display. [PRT-15452] Applicant: Oakhill Center for Rare & Endangered Species, Luther, OK. The applicant requests a permit to export 1 captive born white tiger (Panthera tigris) to Shirotori Zoological Gardens, Japan, for the purpose of propagation and public display. [PRT-14251] Applicant: Henry Doorly Zoo, Omaha, Nebraska. The applicant requests a permit to import DNA samples collected from wild geometric tortoises (Psammobates geometricus) from South Africa, for the purpose of scientific research. The applicant requests a permit to import a polar bear (Ursus maritimus), sport-hunted from the Lancaster Sound polar bear population, Northwest Territories, Canada for personal use.
