Morris Wetland Management District invites you to join us for our popular seed harvest work days. Enjoy beautiful fall weather on local prairies, while learning about restoring these important habitats. No experience needed! We provide all needed training and gear. A light lunch will be provided to those who register in advance (see details in linked PDF). Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes appropriate for walking in tall grass.
September 21 and 28 (Happy National Public Lands Day!), and October 5, 10:00-3:00
➢ Meet at Morris Wetland Management District office, located approximately 4 miles east of Morris on County Road 10 (43875 230th St, Morris MN 56267).
➢ Registrations are appreciated so that we can contact you in case of cancellations. A light lunch will be provided for those registering with Sara (sara_vacek@fws.gov or 320-288-3773) at least 3 days prior to each event.
