Learn to Identify Plants and Animals with iNaturalist

Like to spend time outdoors but don’t know how to identify the plants and animals you see? Join a park ranger and an avid naturalist for a free citizen science training on April 26 at Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge. Using any mobile phone, learn how to use the iNaturalist app to record the biological diversity along the U.S. – Mexico border with the snap of a photo. Be on the lookout! During the entire month of May, there will be many Border BioBlitz events. Questions? Contact park ranger Nancy_Fernandez@fws.gov. Please meet at the parking lot for the Tijuana Estuary visitor center at 301 Caspian Way, Imperial Beach, CA.
