Informal or Self-guided Tours

There is no admission fee to access the hatchery.

While we do not offer a dedicated outreach specialist, tours are possible based on staff availability.

Based on availability, informal tours of the hatchery are conducted between 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If you would like a tour for a large group or a school group, please call in advance to schedule.

If a tour is not available during your visit, you are welcome to walk the self-guided nature trail and look in the outdoor fish tanks. The self-guided trail is accessible all day while the facility is open.

Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday. Closed on weekends and federal holidays.
