Seeking public comment on Haying and Grazing Compatibility on Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge

Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge is inviting the public to review and provide comments on the haying and grazing compatibility determination.

Beginning today and running through July 15, you’re invited to review and comment on the draft compatibility determination document that includes justifications and analysis for this use. Haying and grazing has long been a use for prairie management on the refuge, but a review is required every 10 years. The draft compatibility determination document is available on our refuge website: https://www.fws.gov/refuge/big-stone.

Please call the office at 320-273-2191 with any questions you might have or if you would like the documents in an alternative format.

Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge is headquartered in Odessa, Minnesota. Draft documents are available from the office at:
44843 County Road 19
Odessa, MN, 56276
