NEPA Documents for Eagle Permits Requested in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas

Issuance of incidental eagle take permits under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act (16 United States Code §§ 668–668d and 50 Code of Federal Regulations § 22.80) require environmental consequences analyses pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA; 42 U.S.C. §§ 4321 et seq.). The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has received a number of applications for permits authorizing incidental eagle take for activities occurring in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Documents outlining the required NEPA analyses, as well as the outcome of those analyses, for the permit applications received in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas are compiled here.
