2022 Rifle Deer Season at Seney National Wildlife Refuge - Camping Registration

Camping at Seney National Wildlife Refuge is only available for hunters during the rifle deer season from November 13 to December 1. This documents walks visitors through how to register their camp and provides the camping rules. It also includes hunting reminders and information about tracking animals into closed areas.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Wildlife Refuge System encourages all hunters to consider switching to non-lead bullets for all hunting. This ensures the highest quality of meat from a harvest and helps prevent lethal collateral damage to wildlife like bald eagles. A lead fragment as small as a grain of rice can be fatal.
