Apache Trout Species Status Assessment 2022

This Species Status Assessment (SSA) provides a comprehensive review of the status, viability, and resiliency of the Apache Trout (Oncorhynchus apache). Using the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's SSA framework, it describes the species, its life history and ecological needs, risks and threats, and conservation actions. It also outlines the species' current condition by quantifying key demographic and habitat factors central to the species' life cycle. It also explores the future of the species over a 30-year timeframe.
