Application for Competitive Events at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge for the 2024-2025 Season

Running, bicycling and bird cup events are permitted at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, per the Compatibility Determination for competitive events. Two competitive running and two competitive bicycling events are permitted during the months of November - March annually. Up to four birding cups may be permitted annually. Applications received by August 31, 2024  will receive priority consideration for the 2024 - 2025 season. Applicants must download and complete this Application before submitting to backbaynwr@fws.gov.
