The US Fish and Wildlife Service is evaluating the compatibility of a project proposed in a Right-of-Way application. The applicant proposes to construct and maintain a 360-foot tall, free-standing microwave tower on Arctic Refuge lands near Collinson Point in order to provide Kaktovik with broadband internet service. The period to provide public comments on this project proposal is March 31 - April 1, 2023.
