Cape Romain NWR Lighthouse Brochure

The Lighthouse brochure gives a brief historical summary of the hazardous coastline for mariners, followed by the construction of the two lighthouses to decrease shipwrecks on the Cape Romain shoals. The historical account highlights early lens technology, families and keepers who lived and worked on the island, and the end of maritime service to the landmarks of today.
