Good things come to those who wade was the theme for the Eastern Shawnee Lost Creek Water Festival this year and the Neosho National Fish Hatchery was there. Over 500 4th and 5th grade students attended and were able to take shelter from the blistering heat under our new tent. Our new heavy-duty shelter was large enough to accommodate an 8-foot table loaded with educational materials as well as up to 30 kids gathered around learning.
