Hankinson Shooting Range Draft Environmental Assessment

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department (NDGF) is applying for a grant with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) for the construction of a new shooting range, referred to as the Hankinson Shooting Range. The purpose of the proposed Project is to develop an accessible public gun range that would promote safe, responsible, knowledgeable and involved gun use. The USFWS Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program (WSFR) is seeking public comment on a Draft Environmental Assessment, open for public comment between February 13, 2024 and March 14, 2024. This EA analyzes potential impacts to elements in the natural and human environment.
