Manatee Release at Three Sisters Springs

When a manatees is captured due to being injured, in distress or another life threatening reason, it is taken to a rehab facility and brought back to health. Once the manatee is healthy enough, it is release in the area it was captured. It takes a team to carry these sometimes 1,300 pound animals.
