This collection contains archived materials related to the proposed and final recommended boundaries for the comprehensive remapping project of Coastal Barrier Resources System (CBRS) units P32/P32P in Okaloosa and Walton Counties, Florida.
Overview of the Remapping Project
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service transmitted to Congress on August 10, 2021, comprehensively revised final recommended maps for two CBRS units in Florida: Moreno Point Unit (P32/P32P). These final recommended maps, dated April 29, 2021, were prepared after a 60-day public review period that ended on March 5, 2021.
These revised final recommended maps were adopted by Congress through Public Law 118-117 on November 25, 2024.
