Pilot Study of Reservoir Sustainability Options: Bighorn Reservoir CART Case Study Handout

To improve boating recreation opportunities, the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) simulated a sediment wall in the Horseshoe Bend Marina to model its potential effects on sediment accumulation within the reservoir in 2017. Results from this modeling study can support future management planning for increased sediment accumulation in other reservoirs.
