The Enhanced Delta Smelt Monitoring Program in action, March 14, 2017, near West Sacramento. Crews consisting of full-time technicians and boat operators, biologists and statisticians from Lodi and the Bay-Delta offices can spend up to 12 hours a day on the water, capturing more information on the Delta smelt than has ever been available before.
