Bird Tour: See a variety of bird species found throughout the different habitats on the property. A limited number of loaner binoculars are available for use upon request. This walking tour covers 1.2 miles over a ramp-accessible boardwalk, gravel trail, and grass walking path. Offered Mondays and Fridays 9am-10am.
Native Plant and Wetland Tour: Discover what a wetland is and why wetlands were restored on Three Sisters Springs property. Learn to identify trees and flowering plants native to Florida along the route. This walking tour covers 0.7 miles roundtrip over gravel trails and grass paths. Offered Thursdays and Sundays 10am-11am.
Manatee Program: Learn about the physical and behavioral traits of manatees, why they come to Three Sisters Springs, and why they are threatened. This program will take place at the picnic tables near the trolley stop. Offered Mondays 10am-11am, Tuesdays 12:30pm-1:30pm, Wednesdays 1pm-2pm, Thursdays 1pm-2pm, Fridays 11am-12pm, Saturdays 2pm-3pm, and Sundays 1pm-2pm AND 2pm-3pm.
Beyond the Boardwalk Tour: Learn the history of Three Sisters Springs, how it became part of the National Wildlife Refuge System, and what restoration projects have been completed. This walking tour spans 0.9 miles roundtrip primarily over a ramp-accessible boardwalk and gravel trail. Offered Mondays 11am-12pm, Tuesdays 1pm-2pm, Wednesdays 2pm-3pm, and Saturdays 11am-12pm.
Alongside the US Fish and Wildlife Service National Wildlife Refuge System logo there is text that states: "Visitors do not need to sign up to join a program. Programs are subject to weather and schedule conflict cancellations. Meet near the Three Sisters Springs trolley drop-off at the designated time. No programs are scheduled for December 24th, 25th, or 31st, 2024."
