Visit Us
Marble Bluff Fish Passage and Research Facility is open to the public Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm during the spawning season, February to July (except federal holidays). At the facility you can walk through our outdoor visitor area and check out our interpretive signs that will teach you about the history of the facility, its operation and the fish species that it helps to conserve. We can provide opportunities to view fish handling near the fish lock if you check in with us beforehand and depending on when you visit, you could see a Pilot Peak Lahontan cutthroat trout and/or Cui-ui. Lahontan cutthroat trout move through the facility starting in mid-February and Cui-ui in mid-April.
If you are interested in seeing fish at the facility we recommend calling ahead as the months above are approximate and the spawning season does vary due to water conditions and temperature.
To call ahead to schedule a tour or to see if fish are moving through the facility, please call +1(775)-861-6367.
