About Us

The West Virginia Field Office is located in Davis, West Virginia. From lush, high-elevation red spruce forests to the bottom of the Ohio River, our office works to conserve and restore federally listed species across the entire state.

Our Mission

Our mission is to build and maintain partnerships, promote good science, and adopt an approach that integrates holistic management of land, water, wildlife, and plants for conservation in the state of West Virginia.

National Conservation Training Center
The National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) is a Federally approved conference and training center located in West Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley along the Potomac River. Conservation professionals attending NCTC courses and events can visit our facility.
