Congratulations to our refuge managers and project leaders in North Dakota and South Dakota for winning the 2020 Wildlife Society Central Mountains and Plains Section Professional Award. This unique award recognizes the outstanding contributions these wildlife professionals have made to conservation through enhancing legacy landowner partnerships. These leaders exemplify the definitions of teamwork, leadership, and dedication in support of landscape conservation by conserving lands to protect diverse natural communities as part of the National Wildlife Refuge System and achieving the Service's mission
