At Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge surf fishing is permitted through all designated dune crossovers but outside life-guarded areas. Access is not allowed after dark and dogs, horses, ATV’s, bicycles, and cars are not allowed on public beaches and foot trails. The creation and use of unauthorized dune footpaths to access the beach is not allowed and camping, fires, use of firearms, and hunting are prohibited.
