Sewee Center grounds and Nebo trail and Nebo ponds are open to pedestrian access during daylight hours when the front entrance gate is closed. Visitors must park outside the gate, on the paved road shoulder. Please do not block the entrance gate.

Bulls Island Archery Hunts November and December 2024

The Bulls Island annual archery hunts for white-tailed deer are two six-day hunts. This year, the hunts will be held November 4th - 9th and December 2nd - 7th. Hunters may arrive on the Sunday preceding the hunt to register, set up camp and scout. Camping in the designated area is limited to participating archers. Due to safety concerns, camping for hunters is the only time that camping is allowed on the refuge. See the Cape Romain NWR hunt permit for regulations and other information.
