Facility Rules and Policies
Everything on the refuge is either a home or food for wildlife, so please
help protect wildlife by respecting the following regulations.
• Refuge access is daylight use only.
• Only licensed vehicles and operators are permitted. Access is limited to graveled roads.
Off-road vehicles are prohibited.
• Portions or the refuge are closed seasonally to public entry and are marked by signs.
• Pets on a leash are permitted.
• No camping, fires, or overnight parking is allowed.
• Disturbing, feeding, or collecting wildlife or plants is prohibited. Surface collecting
or digging for archaeological, historical, or Native American artifacts is prohibited.
• Firearms and other weapons are prohibited except during authorized hunts.
• Possession of alcohol, illegal drugs, or controlled substances is prohibited.
