Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge

Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge was established as an overlay refuge for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers flood control. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers still owns the land but the land and waters within the Refuge boundary are managed by US Fish and Wildlife Service.
