Activities
Refuges are, first and foremost, for plants, fish, wildlife and their habitats, but refuges also offer wildlife-dependent recreational opportunities for the public to enjoy, such as hunting, fishing, photography, wildlife observation, environmental education, and interpretation.
Hatchie NWR offers multiple activities throughout year, such as the Annual Youth Fishing Rodeo, canoe trips, and hiking! Field trips are enjoyed by many schools and groups as well.
Other Facilities in the Complex
Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge is managed as part of the West Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge Complex.
