The refuge includes approximately one mile of shoreline. Most common species in the ocean are omilu, weke a'a weke pueo, goatfish, hawkfish, surgeonfish, lai, kaku and snapper. Invertebrates most commonly taken include tako and ghost crab. No boats are permitted.
