Anglers may fish on all Refuge waters. At times, it may be necessary to restrict fishing areas with signs to protect nesting Trumpeter swans.
Primary management emphasis is for migratory birds, and most pools are partially or fully drawn down during some portion of the year. The use or possession of baitfish is prohibited on Lake Creek, which includes Pools 3, 4, 7, and 10. Water conditions and game fish populations vary considerably from year to year and season to season.
The Little White River Recreation Area (LWRRA) offers opportunities to catch channel catfish, yellow perch, black crappie, walleye, largemouth bass, and northern pike.
