Featured Species
St. Catherine Creek National Wildlife Refuge contains diverse habitat types including bottomland hardwoods, cypress swamps, upland hardwoods on the loess bluffs, small cliffs made from a specific type of wind-blown sediment, moist soil impoundments, reforested areas, and fallow fields. These diverse habitats provide food and shelter to a bountiful diversity of fish, wildlife and plant species.
