Hunt Information
Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge offers waterfowl hunting for youth ages 17 and younger at our Riverboat unit (a separate unit that is otherwise closed to the public) and provides safe and quality education opportunities and introduces young people to hunting heritage. The youth waterfowl hunting program is operated in a manner consistent and compatible with the purposes and goals of the refuge. Hunting is permitted in accordance with all applicable State, Federal, and special refuge regulations. The application window for the 2024-2025 hunt season is now closed.

The application window for the 2024-2025 is now closed. All applicants have been emailed a response whether they were selected or not. If you have any questions, please contact staff at 503-625-5944, or by email at tualatinriver@fws.gov.
2024-2025 Dates: November 9, 17 and 23, 2024; December 1, 7, 15, 21, 29, 2024; January 4, 2025
Time: Self check in 90 minutes prior to legal hunt time. Self check out no later than 1:00 PM.
Location: Riverboat Unit of Tualatin River NWR
