
Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge offers waterfowl hunting for youth ages 17 and younger at our Riverboat unit (a separate unit that is otherwise closed to the public) and provides safe and quality education opportunities, mentorships, and introduce young people to hunting heritage. The youth waterfowl hunting program is operated in a manner consistent and compatible with the purposes and goals of the refuge. Hunting is permitted in accordance with all applicable State, Federal, and special refuge regulations. The application window for the 2022-23 season begins August 15, 2022.
Hunt Details
The application window opens August 15, 2022 and ends October 1, 2022. Please click this link - Youth Hunt Application - to apply for the lottery. If you are registering more than one youth, please be sure to submit a separate application for each one. 2022-2023 Dates: November 12th, 20th, 26th; December 4th, 10th, 18th, 24th and January 1st, 7th
Time: Self check in 90 minutes prior to legal hunt time. Self check out no later than 1:00PM.
