About Alan Yanahan
Alan Yanahan has worked as a Conservation Biologist with Science Applications for the Pacific Region since 2020. In this position, Alan provides technical expertise using geospatial and decision support tools to advance strategic habitat conservation. He also provides landscape level conservation planning support in coordination with state fish and wildlife agencies. With a focus on native bees, Alan engages Service staff and external partners to develop resources that enhance pollinator conservation. Alan received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Entomology from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. degree in Entomology from the University of Arizona..
