About Amy Lueders

Amy graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She began her career with the Bureau of Land Management in 1984 at the Washington Office as a mineral economist. She later held a number of budget development and program analysis positions. Amy then served as the Field Manager in Las Cruces, New Mexico, before moving to Nevada to serve as the BLM Nevada Associate State Director and advancing to the State Director position in New Mexico.  Amy was assigned to be the Southwest Regional Director, USFWS, in Albuquerque, New Mexico and began working with our agency in September of 2017

Throughout her Federal career with the Department of the Interior, she has worked hard to advance Tribal concerns and develop mutually beneficial solutions to issues.
