About Bryan Wilfong
Bryan Wilfong joined COFWCO in 2018 as a forestry technician at the US Air Force Academy. Bryan has undergraduate degrees in History and International Studies from West Virginia University spent several unfulfilling years working in the social sciences. While engaging in environmental activism against mountaintop removal – valley fill mining practices, Bryan discovered a more personally rewarding career path in the natural sciences. Since that career epiphany, Bryan has attained a Masters in Environmental Science from Miami University with a concentration in invasion ecology and worked consistently in the natural resources field. Bryan has held positions as a field botanist for the Center for Ecological Management of Military lands at CSU, with the US Forest Service as a botany technician then a Forest Inventory and Analysis forester and prior to joining COFWCO had served five years as forestry technician with the US Army.
