About Jennifer Waipa

I grew up on Hawaii Island, graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a B.A. in Anthropology (emphasis in Archeology) and a B.A. in Speech and Communications.  I began my federal career working as a Student Coop for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in the Cultural Resource Management Division in 1993 and transferred to the USFWS in 2009 when I moved to Kauai and began working as a Park Ranger for Kilauea Point NWR. In my free time I enjoy gardening, playing and singing Hawaiian music, and supporting my family and community.
