About Justin Crow

Justin Crow is a Fish Biologist working with the Barton Springs Salamander and Houston toad programs and serves as the dive team lead at the San Marcos Aquatic Resources Center (SMARC). Mr. Crow received a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Freshwater Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Biology from Texas State University.  He has expertise in marine and freshwater biology and aquaculture systems, the husbandry of fish and obligate aquatic salamanders, and scientific diving methods. His research focuses on the effects of various environmental factors on aquatic animal physiology.

Justin Crow, a Fish Biologist stationed at the San Marcos Aquatic Resources Center in Texas, is a prime example of someone whose passion for fish and wildlife started as a kid and led to a career with the Service.
