About Mark Robertson

Mark focuses mainly on Endangered Species Act and Permitting needs associated with LSRCP programs.  Mark works as a liaison between LSRCP's partners and NMFS/FWS staff to ensure production programs and associated hatchery improvement projects address ESA compliance needs, notably in the development of Biological Assessments and following the issuance of Biological Opinions.  Mark also works with internal (FWS) and external (e.g., Corps of Engineers, contractors/engineers, cultural resources, state agencies, etc.) partners to ensure environmental documents and other required permits are developed prior to implementation of necessary infrastructure projects.

Education

Master of Science Degree, University of Idaho, Wildlife Resources, 1991

Bachelor of Science Degree, Michigan State University, Wildlife Science, 1987

Hobbies/Interests

Nothing beats the outdoors, whether fly fishing, hiking, camping, travel, or putzing around in the garden.  When forced to be inside, the kitchen is a focal point for experimenting and creating delectable treats (with a few dismal exceptions) to share with others.
