About Robin McWilliams-Munson
I joined the FWS in 1994 and began assisting with various projects in the Environmental Contaminants Program as well as with Section 7 Section 7
Section 7 Consultation
The Endangered Species Act (ESA) directs all Federal agencies to work to conserve endangered and threatened species and to use their authorities to further the purposes of the Act. Section 7 of the Act, called "Interagency Cooperation," is the mechanism by which Federal agencies ensure the actions they take, including those they fund or authorize, do not jeopardize the existence of any listed species.
Learn more about Section 7 consultations. In 2008 I became the Transportation Liaison for Indiana and work closely with the Federal Highway Administration, the Indiana Department of Transportation, and other transportation agencies. I primarily work on Section 7 consultations, including programmatic consultations. I am currently the Indiana Field Office's point of contact for the rusty patched bumble bee (Bombus affinis).
