About Tiffany Love-Chezem
Tiffany Love-Chezem is a jack of all trades. Since she joined Arizona Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office (AZFWCO) in February of 2019, she has worked primarily with Razorback Sucker and Bonytail Chub in the Lower Colorado River. In addition to annual monitoring, Tiffany has completed research on tag detection, helping to develop better protocols to detect old Razorback Suckers. She also assists with Humpback Chub monitoring and other projects in the Grand Canyon and works with other native fish and herpetofauna throughout the Bill Williams and Gila River drainages.

An invasive species is any plant or animal that has spread or been introduced into a new area where they are, or could, cause harm to the environment, economy, or human, animal, or plant health. Their unwelcome presence can destroy ecosystems and cost millions of dollars.
Learn more about invasive species control and eradication projects in systems from small streams to large rivers and reservoirs. She has completing protocols for Early Detection and Rapid Response Planning for Invasive Species in Arid Streams and has lead efforts at AZFWCO to incorporate eDNA sampling as an aid in invasive species removal, as well as endangered species detection.
Tiffany has worked in the Colorado River Basin since 2012 and joined FWS in 2017.
In her free time Tiffany is an avid outdoors person enjoying mountain biking, skiing, rafting, and bird hunting.
