44th Annual Eagle Days

The 44th Annual Eagle Days Event at Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge sponsored by U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) and Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC). Join us for this FREE fun-filled weekend. 

Saturday, December 2, 2023 - 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Sunday, December 3, 2023 - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Free guided bus tours of the refuge, with spotting scopes for eagle viewing opportunities. Take a bus tour or drive the auto tour on your own. 10 miles of road around the wetlands with interpretive stops along the way! Touch a mammal pelt, observe an eagle nest, and so much more. 

Live eagle programs (FREE) courtesy of World Bird Sanctuary. With a chance to get your photo taken with the birds!

Spotting scopes set up along the auto tour route with volunteers ready to help you spot an eagle, among many other fascinating birds and mammals. 

Purchase souvenirs from the Nature Store, courtesy of Friends of Loess Bluffs. 

Get your picture taken with Puddles the Blue Goose, create your own button or magnet, get your face painted or get a temporary tattoo to rock the refuge swag. 

Food available for purchase.
