B.A.R.K. Ranger Induction Ceremonies

Learn proper “petiquette” on public lands. During the program, pets and their human companions will hike with a park ranger to learn about the B.A.R.K. Ranger principles. Afterward, participants become official B.A.R.K. Rangers during an induction ceremony where they receive a certificate and bandana.

Group ceremonies take place behind the visitor center, with a hike through the South Woods from 10-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Individual ceremonies, for dogs that do best without unfamiliar dogs, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in 15-minute time slots and do not include a guided hike. Events will be held quarterly on the first Saturday of the month, as listed below.
