Beginner's Nature Photography Workshop

Calling all nature lovers and aspiring photographers. Join us for a free nature photography workshop at Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge on June 14. The lessons will be led by local photographer and naturalist Hector Valtierra and Park Ranger Nancy Fernandez. We will meet outside the Tijuana Estuary visitor center parking lot (301 Caspian Way, Imperial Beach, CA) and take a walk on the refuge trails to learn how to best use your camera’s settings to capture great shots. Camera phones are also welcomed. Be prepared to walk about 1.6 miles round trip on flat ground starting at the visitor center and then towards North McCoy trail (along the eastern perimeter of the refuge). Feel free to bring monopods or tripods.
