Grab your camera and join us on Friday, November 18th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am for a free nature photography workshop with local photographer and naturalist Hector Valtierra. We will meet outside of the Tijuana Estuary visitor center parking lot and take a walk on the Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge trails to learn how to best use your camera’s settings to capture great shots. During this time of year, you can expect to see many local and migrating bird species including ducks, geese, and terns.
Be prepared to walk about 1.6 miles round trip on flat ground starting at the visitor center, then towards North McCoy trail (along the eastern perimeter of the refuge). Please feel free to bring monopods or tripods.
If you would like to attend, please email Nancy Fernandez at Nancy_Fernandez@fws.gov so we know to expect you. Please reach Nancy as well if you have any questions.
