Idaho Farmworkers Program

We will be collecting items for Idaho Immigrant Resource Alliance’s Heat and Smoke Relief for Idaho Farmworkers program. As global temperatures continue to rise, farmworkers are 35 times more likely to die from heat-related illness according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics data. In response to Idaho's farmworkers working in record-breaking 100+ degree heat the past years and through thick smoke to feed our nation, we are collecting the following items:

  • Bottled water, sports drinks, electrolytes, bandanas, cooling scarves, coolers, reusable ice packs, sunscreen, hats
