Join us for an exploration into spring phenology and discover what's happening in nature! Learn about phenology and create your own April phenology calendar to bring home. This is a free drop-in program with at-your-own-pace activities and complimentary snacks, provided by the Minnesota Valley Refuge Friends. For all ages! Registration is NOT required. What to Bring: Clothing and shoes you can comfortably move around in. This program has indoor and outdoor portions, please bring outerwear appropriate for the weather.
Accessibility: Restrooms, fireplace, and water fountains are available inside the visitor center. Ramps are available to access all areas of the visitor center. The beginning of the path is aggregate paved and transitions into a cement paved path. Optional trail: dirt path. Some portions are steep and have uneven tread. Includes stairs.
Program Leader: This program is led by refuge staff.
