Join us at the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center (1101 Casey Rd.) for a full evening of programming! The refuge is typically closed at night so for this evening we will be offering light refreshments and the following activities:

· Nature at Night Self-led Inside Craft Activities 5:00pm-9:00pm
· Nocturnal Life Through Indigenous Eyes 7:15pm-8:00pm, RSVP required. See Full Descriptions below.
· Nighttime Bug Discovery 9:00pm-10:00pm
· Stargazing and Sturgeon Moon Watch 9:00pm-10:00pm

Oil Pastel Night Scene Nature Painting
Join Volunteer Artist, Amanda Butler for an exciting evening at the wildlife refuge where you will be led step-by-step through a nighttime nature scene using oil pastels in celebration of our Nature at Night event! Materials provided. All are welcome! Registration is required. Meet in the Visitor Center, multi-purpose room.

Activity Level and Accessibility: Easy-active, will involve sitting and using moderate hand dexterity for using pastels.
What to Bring: This program is held entirely indoors. Dress comfortably and in clothes that you may get pastels on. Dress for the weather if you intend on coming to the additional programs for the Nature at Night event!
Nocturnal Life Through Indigenous Eyes
Join Seneca Elder and Volunteer, Marv Jacobs for storytelling and a presentation on life at night from an indigenous perspective. Registration is required. Meet in the Visitor Center, multi-purpose room.
