Join us at the as we celebrate Swan Day. Come explore the exhibit hall, view a special swan exhibit, participate in swan themed activities, visit the nature store for a pine cone bird feeder craft, listen to swan story time, enjoy live raptor presentations, and sit in on a photography for hobbyists workshop.
Tickets are free, but required!
There are two live raptor presentations and a photography workshop.
- 10:00 a.m. Ogden Nature Center will be at the Refuge for a live raptor presentation
- 11:30 a.m. local photographer, Barry Parson, will be presenting on photography for hobbyists
- 1:00 p.m. Hawkwatch International will be at the Refuge for a live raptor presentation.
Tickets are required to see the live bird presentations and join the photography workshop. Due to limited seating everyone two and older must have a ticket to participate in these presentations. Tickets are issued on a first come first serve basis. All other activities are open to everyone.
Make sure to drive the Auto Tour to see Tundra Swans as they migrate through the area to their nesting sites in the tundra.
